Chapter 76: See You Again After Twelve Years
The Hogwarts Express slowly stopped, and the students filed out of the train and arrived at Hogsmeade Station.
Standing on the dilapidated platform, the young wizards shuddered and couldn't help wanting to return to the warm train.
The weather was too cold... It was raining continuously, and the platform was covered with ice, freezing the students to the bone.
Hogsmeade is indeed a small broken station. Except for a signpost, there is no place to shelter from the wind and rain. It is a compliment to call it a "ruin".
Rolf looked up at the gray sky. The heavy rain still showed no signs of weakening. He had to raise his arms, and the downpour above his head suddenly stopped.
Although it stopped raining, the weather was still very cold.
Shirley pulled the thick cloak tightly, curled up in the sleeves, waved the wand stiffly and clumsily, and nodded to herself and Rolf's head.
White smoke suddenly came out of the boy's hair, and his body became warm.
Shirley stretched her body like a cat, but accidentally stepped on the ice and slipped suddenly. Fortunately, Rolf held the girl's waist in time to prevent her from falling.
Shirley steadied herself, thanked him, and carefully raised her wand to Hermione.
White smoke also came out of Hermione's body, and she was looking up at the sky at this time.
It was still raining heavily all around, but only over their heads, the raindrops did not fall, but bounced upwards.
Hermione could conjure an umbrella to prevent her clothes from being wet by the rain, but she could not bounce back the rain as easily as Rolf.
She had seen the boy perform this magic several times, and now she still felt it was magical.
"Why do you have so many strange magics?" Hermione couldn't help asking.
"Secret." Rolf smiled mysteriously at her, stretched out two fingers, and pretended to pinch the rain curtain in the sky, attracting a lot of rain out of thin air.
The raindrops condensed into crystal clear water droplets, jumping on the boy's fingertips, as if they were just picked from the lotus leaves after the rain.
Hermione stared at the water droplets and said viciously: "I will know sooner or later!"
"Why don't you two make a bet..." Neville whispered.
Rolf was about to nod, but Hermione waved her hand and said: "It's not good to bet... I quit!"
"..."
Rolf sighed slightly, and the water droplets exploded in his palm and turned into a pool of rainwater. After a while, they condensed into an ice flower.
But the ice flower was particularly ugly, and it looked a bit horrible... Rolf couldn't bear to look at it, so he threw it on the ground, but Shirley bent down and picked it up again.
Luo Fu asked curiously, "Why did you pick up such an ugly ice flower?"
The girl with ponytail wiped the dust off the ice flower, raised a bright smile, and said softly, "It's very beautiful. If you don't want it, I will."
Luo Fu laughed dumbly and said, "You are being sarcastic, right?"
The girl with ponytail smiled and didn't refute. She carefully put the ice flower in her pocket, thinking about asking Professor McGonagall later... What magic can keep it from melting and preserve it forever.
"All first-year students come here!" A familiar voice suddenly sounded.
Hagrid's burly figure appeared on the path, with a patinated oil lamp in his left hand and a pink umbrella in his right hand. There was also a delicate and timid big dog at his feet...Ya Ya.
The new students all walked towards Hagrid. They needed to brave the heavy rain and experience the traditional lake crossing trip, but taking a boat in this weather was simply a torture.
Students above the second grade walked along a muddy road towards the Night Thestral carriage.
"Good evening, Rolf." Ginny pulled Luna over and waved.
The little girl soon noticed something was wrong. She put away her umbrella, stuck the tip of the umbrella into the mud beside her, used it as a walking stick, and then asked in surprise:
"It's not raining on your heads."
Many little wizards raised their heads after hearing Ginny's words, noticed this magical scene... and then talked about it.
"It's just a little magic." Rolf smiled and asked, "Did you have a good time in Egypt?"
During the summer vacation, Mr. Wesley won the annual grand prize of the Daily Prophet Galleon Award and received 700 Galleons.
Their family went to Egypt for a trip and visited their eldest son Bill who was "grave robbing" there.
Then... the Wesley family, who only had one Galleon in the vault, spent the huge sum of 700 Galleons in one summer.
To be honest, it would be strange if the Wesley family was not poor.
"Egypt is great, with relics left by ancient wizards everywhere." Ginny said excitedly: "Bill took us to all the pyramids... I also brought you gifts."
Android and Apple are both available. 】
Ginny took out a few insect mummies made of scarabs from her pocket and handed them to Rolf and the others. This thing is hung on the head of the bed, and it is said to ward off evil spirits.
Hanging dung beetle corpses to ward off evil spirits, right... Rolf wanted to complain.
"I also brought you gifts." The boy turned his wrist, took out two obsidian polished amulets, and handed them to Ginny and Luna.
Luna was a little listless. After she took the amulet, she put it to her ear and tapped it gently, listening to the crisp sound, then stared at the boy with gray eyes and said:
"Rolf, thank you for your amulet, I suddenly feel much better."
Rolf glanced at the girl's pale face, frowned and asked: "Luna, you don't look very well?"
"Luna is affected by the Dementors." Ginny explained.
"People with painful memories will be more affected." Luofu took out a large piece of chocolate, handed it over, and said softly: "Eat some of this, it will make you feel much better."
"Harry fainted. I think Professor Black also asked him to eat some chocolate. Is this thing really useful?" Ginny asked curiously:
"I mean...this is not just ordinary chocolate, but is there some magic potion in it?"
"No, nothing is added, it's just ordinary chocolate." Luofu explained with a smile:
"Chocolate itself is a special medicine that can improve the negative effects of dementors."
Taking chocolate can improve a bad mood because of this characteristic... For those who have been affected by dementors, chocolate is the best antidote.
Of course, chocolate is only a short-term remedy.
Several people quickly came to the carriage and climbed into it. The Thestral started driving, pulling the carriage along the muddy road, running all the way east towards Hogwarts Castle.
When passing the school gate, you can still see two tall, hooded dementors standing at the door.
They stretched their necks again and tried to inhale, just like old smokers inhaling second-hand smoke.
The carriage drove all the way to the castle and everyone got out of the carriage, including Sirius.
After he jumped off the carriage, he stood at the gate of the castle, standing with his hands behind his hands, looking up, unwilling to look back for a long time.
Sirius, who always had a smile on his face, was like a wanderer who had been away from home for many years and suddenly returned to his hometown, with a look of fatigue and confusion on his face for no reason.
Sirius once thought that he would never see Hogwarts again, just like he would never see James and Lily again.
The oak door creaked open, and a middle-aged man came out. He was wearing a black robe, with a pair of hollow black eyes, greasy black hair, and a big aquiline nose.
The two middle-aged men looked at each other. Their gazes were like magnets, attracting each other and unable to look away.
this moment,
It seems like a glance for thousands of years.
