Chapter 93: Flirting Snape and Sirius
Rolf and Shirley walked back up the stairs to the first floor, but this time the screams had disappeared, and the entire foyer was completely silent.
Shirley held her breath and listened. After a moment, she lowered her voice and said:
"I thought I heard Mrs. Norris's cry."
Rolf nodded slightly, and he heard it too. The sound came from Filch's office. He took out his wand and walked straight towards a small room.
The door of Filch's office was closed tightly, and dim light filtered through the cracks in the door. As he got closer, Mrs. Norris's screams became more obvious.
Luofu asked Bowtruckle to open the door. He walked in, narrowed his eyes, and looked at the entire room.
He had been to Filch's office many times before. Although the room was dark and small, it was generally tidy.
But at this moment, the office was in a mess, the desks and chairs fell to the floor, and the cabinets and drawers in the corner were messed up, as if they had been robbed.
Filch lay on the ground, and Mrs. Norris lay beside him, meowing miserably.
Rolf walked over and reached out to touch Filch's nose. He looked up at Shirley and said, "He's not dead, he just passed out."
The girl with the ponytail took a breath. She bent down to pick up the scattered objects on the ground and looked at them carefully.
Rolf took out the potion from his pocket and poured it into Filch's nostrils. Then he walked towards Shirley and asked, "Did you find anything?"
Shirley pointed to the label on the drawer and read: "'Confiscated supplies, highly dangerous'... The attackers rummaged through these places."
Rolf frowned and said, "Is there anyone looking for the items confiscated by Filch?"
At this moment, Filch, who had been filled with potion, groaned. He opened his eyes in confusion and found himself lying on the ground. He suddenly woke up and sat up.
"Mr. Filch, who sneaked into your room and attacked you?" Rove asked, "Did you see clearly?"
"Peter Pettigrew... I just came back from patrol. When I opened the door, I saw him, rummaging through the cabinets to find something."
Filch gasped for breath, and said with fear on his face: "I was just about to call someone, and then he knocked me unconscious."
"Peter Pettigrew?" Rolf narrowed his eyes with a suspicious look on his face.
What is Peter looking for in Filch's office?
"Shirley, bring out a Niffler."
The girl with the ponytail nodded slightly. She took the black suitcase from Luofu's hand, opened it, and quickly got in.
Luofu raised his wand and said, "The trace appears."
The wand puffed out golden smoke that enveloped the entire room.
This is a tracking spell that can be used to display traces of activities that occurred in an area over a short period of time.
Soon, many messy footprints appeared on the ground, as well as some handprints, touching the cabinet, as if they were rummaging for something.
Shirley quickly brought Sniff out, and after Rolf promised him a galleon, the little guy sniffed up his nose and kept sniffing the footprints on the ground, like a police dog.
The sniffer sniffed around several flashing footprints, finally locked on Peter's scent, and ran out of the room, with both Rolf and Shirley following closely behind.
But not long after they walked out of the room, a thin man with a big hook nose walked out of the shadows.
Snape was dressed in black, had black hair, a thin face, and a pair of black eyes, like a shadow in the darkness.
"Scamander, Swinton... you two are up so late at night, what are you doing here?" Snape said with a malicious smile:
"I think it's time for Dumbledore to take care of the issue of puppy love among students."
Shirley's face turned red. Rolf coughed and explained:
"Professor Snape, you misunderstood... We are looking for Peter. He just sneaked into Filch's office and knocked Filch unconscious."
"My sniffer can pick up his scent. Peter shouldn't be far away by now."
Snape's black eyes showed surprise. He took out his wand and said with murderous intent: "Where is Peter? Lead the way!"
The three of them walked up the stairs. As they passed the fourth floor, footsteps came from the corridor, and there was a faint light not far away.
Snape stood in front of Rolf and Shirley, holding his wand high and pointing it into the distance.
Another familiar figure appeared, Sirius walked over, the light came from an oil lamp hanging in his hand.
When Sirius saw the three of them, he was stunned for a moment, and then he suddenly imagined thousands of mountains and rivers in his mind.
Like Snape, he invariably believed that Rolf and Shirley stayed up in the middle of the night and had a date in the castle...
As for Snape, he had apparently caught the poor couple while on patrol and was now taking them to Dumbledore's office.
No, we have to save them!
Whether it was because of Rolf's relationship with him or because of his dissatisfaction with Snape, Sirius decided to take action!
"Rolf, Shirley, why are you two here... didn't I ask you to go back to the academy?" Sirius walked over and said:

"Professor Snape, don't embarrass Rolf and Shirley. They have been in my office tonight, discussing Defense Against the Dark Arts with me... They are not secretly dating."
Luofu: "..."
Shirley: "..."
Rolf couldn't help but put his forehead on his head. This was all going nowhere. He sighed and told him again about Peter knocking Filch unconscious.
"Peter sneaked into Hogwarts?" Sirius frowned and said, "Then let's go find him quickly!"
This time, four people set out. Rolf took a glance and found that it just formed a picture of a badger, an eagle, a snake, and a lion... It was really lively tonight.
Sniff followed all the way and finally stopped on the fifth floor. It lay in front of a large mirror, digging the ground frantically, digging up clouds of dust.
"There is a secret passage behind it, leading to Hogsmeade Village." Sirius raised his wand, tapped the mirror and said, "The world in the mirror!"
The mirror opened immediately, revealing a passage that was large enough for a slightly thin person to enter.
"There is a secret passage here?" Snape looked very surprised. With a cold smile on his face, he stared at Sirius and said:
"You know the secret passage from outside the school to the inside of the school, but you didn't tell it? Blake, you are really Peter's good classmate. I now doubt whether you helped him get in."
"Maybe I have told Dumbledore about the secret passage, but the headmaster didn't tell you? He was afraid that you would leak the secret."
Sirius responded tit for tat without showing any weakness:
"I also suspect that you helped Peter get in. I checked this secret passage before. It collapsed completely. Could it be that you helped Peter to open it again?"
The two raised their wands at the same time and pointed them at each other.
"Okay!" Rolf said impatiently: "Can you two shut up and be quiet for a while? Are you annoying!
Still arguing at this time...arguing, arguing, arguing, how the hell did you become such idiots now?"
Snape and Sirius looked at Rolf, and were a little stunned for a while, as if they were scared by him.
Even Shirley was so shocked that she couldn't speak for several seconds. She quietly took out her wand. If Snape attacked Rolf, she could help the boy resist.
Snape finally came to his senses, and he showed a dangerous look: "Scamander, what did you just say?"
"He said you were a fool." Sirius whistled: "The evaluation is quite fair."
"Shut up!" Snape said viciously: "Insulting the professor, Hufflepuff will lose 100 points!"
"The evaluation is fair, Hufflepuff will add 110 points." Sirius said.
The two quarreled again, and Rolf ignored them. He looked at Shirley and said: "Let's go, I'll take you back to the Ravenclaw common room."
"Not chasing Peter?" Shirley asked.
"This secret passage leads to Hogsmeade." Rolf shook his head and said: "I can't catch up tonight... Let's go."
The two turned and left, and they could still hear Snape and Sirius confronting each other behind them.
"Hufflepuff deducts 200 points."
"Hufflepuff adds 210 points."
"Hufflepuff deducts 300 points."
Shirley leaned close to Rolf's ear, her voice so soft it sounded like a whisper, and she asked, "What are they doing?"
Rolf thought for a moment and said, "Old classmates flirting."
