I Was Expelled From Hogwarts?

Chapter 40: Bigger Inside Than Outside

Shirley felt like her feet were stepping into the air, and her body seemed to be sucked into the sewer. When she opened her eyes again, she came to a strange room.

The room was not big, and the facilities were simple, with only a bed, a table, a chair, and a cabinet.

On one wall, there were various tools for taming magical animals: fishing rods, fishing nets, ropes, chains, whips, suckers, forceps, massage sticks...

On the other wall, there were photos of various magical animals in action, and there were sticky notes below, with training and taming plans, as well as precautions when in contact.

A long pearwood table, with a wall cabinet above the table, filled with various books related to magical animals:

"Where are the Magical Beasts", "Magical Beasts in the Pot", "Magical Beasts in the Stomach", "On the Mating of Fire Dragons", "Postpartum Care of Sows", "How to Help Unicorns with Postpartum Depression Regain Confidence", "What to Do if Sniff Doesn't Want to Have a Second Child"...

On the table was a thick notebook, a pointed wizard hat, and a pile of manuscripts.

On the shelf in the corner, there were pills, potions, and potion bottles forming a medicine cabinet, as well as several large bags of feed.

Shirley was so shocked that she opened her mouth wide and couldn't say a word. After a while, she whispered, "Is this inside the box?"

"Yeah, is there anything you want to say?" Rove sat on the chair and looked at the confused girl with a smile.

Shirley widened her eyes and blurted out, "It's much bigger inside than outside!"

"Much bigger?" Rove laughed and said proudly, "I didn't notice it. I thought it was just a little bit."

"..."

"I'll tidy up the table. It's a bit messy." Rove turned around and whispered, "Find a place to sit. Don't stand there stupidly."

Shirley looked left and right and saw only a stool under Rove's butt. She had to sit on the bed carefully.

But she didn't dare to move the quilt, for fear of seeing something she shouldn't see or touching something she shouldn't touch on the bed.

When she was in the monastery, she heard from the nuns that boys of this age are very strange.

Shirley's attention was quickly attracted by the two photos on the bedside. One was a family photo, with Rove's grandparents and parents.

Shirley looked at the family photo and was very envious. The girl carefully looked at each of Rove's family members and finally came to a conclusion:

Rove inherited his mother's beauty, so he is so good-looking.

Shirley glanced at the photo next to her. There was only one beautiful witch in it. She was active. She stretched out her hand towards the bed and hooked her hand, then licked her lips, made a charming gesture of blowing a kiss, and finally laughed.

Shirley asked curiously:

"Rove, who is this witch?"

"My sister Margaret, she goes to Ilvermorny School of Magic." Rove said embarrassedly: "She cast a permanent sticking spell behind the photo, and I can't peel it off."

This crazy woman wanted to tattoo her head on Rove's chest last time. In comparison, just sticking the photo on the bedside with a permanent sticking spell is considered normal behavior.

Rolf put away his notebook and put a few phoenix tail feathers into the cabinet. These were tail feathers from Fox. He was making them into quill pens and preparing to give them out as gifts for Christmas.

After packing up, Rolf stood up, and Shirley followed him and stood in front of a wooden door with a brass door knocker in the shape of a griffin on the door.

Compared with the door knocker in the principal's office, the workmanship of the griffin in Rolf's box was really much worse. He touched his door knocker and missed the door knocker of others.

However, it was with this broken door knocker that many magical animals were guarded and prevented from running away at will.

Rolf was about to open the door, but suddenly remembered something. He turned his head and reminded: "You don't have anything shiny on you, right? Like Galleons or something like that."

Shirley shook her head, but she quickly remembered something. She stretched out her slender fingers, carefully pulled a silver chain from her neck, and gently lifted it.

At the end of the silver chain, there was a special cross hanging. The girl shook it gently and asked, "Does this count?"

Rolf looked at it intently and reached out to hold the unique cross.

So beautiful...it felt warm in the hand...

What material?

Rolf stroked the cross and suddenly remembered that the girl had just taken it out from under her neck, so of course it was warm. He quickly let go and coughed, saying, "Hide it well."

Shirley's ears and neck were red, not to mention her face. If Rolf hadn't offered her a salary of thirty galleons a month, she would have hit someone now.

Well, she forgot to bring her baseball bat. She had to carry it with her when she came to work in the future!

Rolf turned the doorknob and opened the door carefully. A creature covered with black fur took off and rushed over directly.

Rolf quickly closed the door. With a bang, the creature hit the door and screamed.

"What is that?" Shirley shouted.

"Sniffers, they like shiny things. Hide your cross and don't let them find it."

Rove underestimated the ability of the sniffers to escape from prison. Although one sniffer hit the door, another one slipped in at some point.

It hung on the chandelier on the ceiling and tried to steal the light bulb used for lighting. The light in the room suddenly flickered.

Rove snapped his fingers and whispered:

"The vines are growing!"

The vines on the bookshelf rolled up in the air like a snake, wrapped around the Niffler, and then threw it towards Rolf.

The boy reached out to catch the Niffler, dribbled it twice on the ground, and then made a step-back throw, but he didn't throw it out. He stuffed the dizzy Niffler into his pocket.

Rolf looked at Shirley and smiled, "A group of very naughty guys. They will also be the main trouble for your future work."

"..."

The Nifflers are indeed very naughty, and it is difficult to complete 100% complete domestication.

Every Scamander, at the age of ten, can choose one of the magical animals of the three major families as a partner.

Rolf chose the Niffler at first, and the system also issued a thief magic called [Stolen] that rewards 100% domestication.

Unfortunately, the Nifflers are not obedient at all. Rolf has successfully domesticated the Bowtruckle and the Salamander, but has not yet completed the domestication of the Niffler.

All I can say is... the Niffler will never be a slave!

Even if they provide food, lodging and the vault!!

Rolf opened the wooden door and walked out first. Shirley followed carefully. Seeing the scene in front of her, she was stunned.

She thought that the black leather box was as big as a small house, which was already exaggerated enough, but in front of her was an area larger than the Quidditch field.

This place is more like a small wildlife park, and each animal has its own perfect, magical habitat.

The girl was stunned for a long time, and suddenly laughed inexplicably, laughing so hard that she had to purse her lips to avoid looking so stupid.

She laughed happily, just like when she heard Professor McGonagall tell her that day that she was a wizard, she could leave the monastery and be as free as a bird.

(Thanks to the reward of "Give me a bottle of wine and a cigarette" big brother.

Asking for monthly tickets at the beginning of the month, thank you big brothers.)
