Chapter 16: Killed a Person with Medical Treatment

What kind of deep hatred could have caused him to be poisoned in such a vicious way?

Su Wan frowned. She had collected a few herbs but still needed to go to town to buy them.

Gu's mother prepared breakfast, put it on the table, and called to Su Wan: "Ah Wan, come and eat."

"Okay." Su Wan responded. The sun was getting bigger, and she was going to town early.

She went to the room to clean up, put the chicken mushrooms in a backpack, put it on her back, and came to the square table in the main hall. There was an egg pancake in her bowl, and a few wild vegetable pancakes in the large bowl in the middle of the table.

Su Wan picked up a wild vegetable pancake, put it in her mouth and took a bite. She was about to tell Gu's mother that she was going to town, and she heard Gu's mother whispering to Gu Huaizhi.

"Jingyun is still young, what should I do if he doesn't study?" Gu's mother was anxious and angry.

Gu Huaizhi coughed a few times: "Send him to the town to study."

Someone started a fight, saying, "This man just fell down. He was still breathing when you gave him the acupuncture, but he died as soon as the needle went in. Did you kill him?"

"Who said he's dead?" Su Wan squeezed out of the crowd, took a look at the old man on the ground, frowned and said, "This doctor is still holding on to his life!"
