Thanks to the Leader "Mountain Axe" For the Reward
Just after drawing the red envelopes in the group, I found that there is a new leader. Thank you for the reward from the leader "Mountain Opening Axe". Unfortunately, I don't have any manuscripts saved to update. (It seems that I owed it before?)
This book is the fastest updated one. Basically, it updates 7,000 words a day. Since the beginning of the book, it has not been interrupted for a day.
Sometimes, I feel uncomfortable with the writer's block, and I can only sit in front of the computer and write 4,000 words and finish it hastily.
Today, I recalled the creative journey and felt emotional.
When I started writing the first few books, I only updated 4,000 words a day, writing what I liked. The results were not high or low, and the royalties were few. The road was long and difficult, but I was relaxed.
If I was tired, I would just take a leave, and I would be complacent with a little achievement.
Today, I update 7,000 words a day and write what the public likes. The results have improved a lot, but there are fewer loyal readers, more time for anxiety, and more working hours.
Looking back, many old readers may not like my books anymore. But for the sake of the past, they still subscribe to it and read it casually to confirm that I am still alive.
Most of the loyal readers may be accumulated from the first few books.
The later books are no longer popular, and everyone just reads them for the sake of novelty. When the excitement is over, they leave. There is not much accumulation of readers.
But the past environment can't come back. With the rise of short videos and the popularity of fast pace, writing books like in the past can only be a street product.
The Eternal Donkey is in his thirties, and is about to be optimized by society. He can still work in the online writing industry. It's good that he has not been eliminated.
In addition, he is old and entangled in family affairs. He can no longer do what he wants and work in this industry with a playful mentality like he did when he was dreaming.
If you have to choose between dreams and reality, you can only choose reality.
If readers think this book is good and deserves to be rewarded, then I will accept it with peace of mind. (I think the current plot is OK.)
If you think this is a bad book, you don't have to reward it. This book's performance is not as good as the previous one, but it currently has 19,000 average subscriptions and is still rising, which makes me very satisfied.
In short, thank you all for your company, whether new or old friends, I am very grateful for reading this chapter.
Please don't blame me for my nonsense and some feelings.
