Chapter 2: Embarking on a Destined Journey
Just as Lou Bai was waiting for the system to slowly print the deck, Zone's residence, the Holy Ark Cradle.
"Zone, Antinomi's personality has met that variable from outside this world." As the voice fell, a tall man wearing a black and white mask walked out of the dark corridor.
"Paradox, what does Antinomi think of him?" The one who responded to Paradox was an old man who showed half of his face and seemed to live in a hermit crab shell.
"It's hard to say," Paradox took off the mask: "According to the information collected by Antinomi, that guy seems to have known your existence, Zone, is he really what you said 'a person who can change the world's predetermined destiny'?"
"There is no experiment with a 100% success rate in this world, and I have never guaranteed that he can save our world." Although Zone was talking to Paradox, his exposed eye seemed not to be looking at him, but at the distant past.
"This is the second time we have restarted the timeline, Paradox. Last time, Yusei showed me the new possibility of synchronization, which is the power to connect people's hearts." Zone's "conch" slowly floated up: "But it's not enough. A hundred years after Yusei's death, humans have repeated the same mistakes."
Zone's voice revealed a heavy sorrow, saying: "The only lesson humans can learn from history is... humans never learn from history."
"So what about that guy?"
"That kid, I accidentally found him when I was observing the universe. At that time, he was just a dying soul. I cured him. He was sent to that time, and Antinomie was sent to guide him. "
"Is it worth it?"
"It's worth it, he is a new variable and new possibility from outside the universe. For our desperate universe, every possibility is precious."
Zone's "Conch" slowly floated to the corridor from Paradox. When passing Paradox, Zone said: "That kid... let Antinomie guide him to see Yusei. I believe Yusei can definitely lead him on the right track."
In the waiting hall, Lou Bai sat on the ground with a newspaper under his buttocks, looking through the cards one by one.
"Why are there so many normal monsters? There are only a few effect monsters, and there are not many useful ones. Magic Traps are also meaningless. There are only Fusion and Synchro. Although I haven't watched the later parts, I still know the existence of Xyz and Link cards."
Looking at the pile of miscellaneous cards in his hand, Lou Bai looked embarrassed. "Since I've given it to the system, can you help me to the end and give me a decent deck?" Lou Bai muttered.
"The system's self-introduction is not wrong. They are all cards from different worldviews. Well, there are DT and teaching, but this is too scattered." Lou Bai looked at the Guardian of the Valley of Mist and the Guardian Cannon Monster-Torpedo in his hand and said, "You gave them to the Cannon Monster, why don't you give related cards?"
After some sorting, Lou Bai kicked out a small part of the particularly stuck items, and took the remaining large part of the meaningless cards and a few useful general-purpose cards to form a deck.
"After sorting it out, I found that these cards are not only scattered, but also so low in RBI. I can't play Axe." Lou Bai picked out two cards from the deck: "I didn't expect that my current trump cards are these two guys, the mediocre ghost and the huge mediocre ghost."
"Okay, search my own 'birth point' again, and start my adventure in this world!" Lou Bai rubbed his face, squeezed out a smile, and encouraged himself.
An hour later, Lou Bai, wearing a long windbreaker, a pair of torn denim shorts, and carrying a large cloth bag, walked out of the waiting hall. The cloth bag contained his changed suit and a series of miscellaneous things, and the important cards and systems were placed in the left and right pockets of the windbreaker.
After getting ready, Lou Bai followed the "sword mark" and headed in the direction of the sea. Half an hour later, "I'm so stupid, really, I only knew that I had to collect all the supplies around me when I ventured into the other world alone, I didn't know it would be so tiring to carry these supplies!" Lou Bai said breathlessly.
Is this the world of Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds? Is this the satellite area? Why do I feel like I've come directly to the set of the apocalypse survival? The satellite area is not an uninhabited area!
After walking for half an hour with a large bag of things on his back, Lou Bai complained in his heart.
"System, didn't you say you can connect to the Internet? Then can you check the map of the satellite area?" Lou Bai thought of something, took out the system from his pocket, and asked hopefully. The red eyes in the middle of the system flashed, and the human-like appearance seemed to be thinking. After a few seconds, a map was projected from the eyes to Lou Bai.
"You thief!" Lou Bai waved his hand fiercely and said with a smile: "It's only one kilometer away from the nearest gathering place."
Ten minutes later, at the gate of a village. "Hey! That guy in the windbreaker, don't come any closer!" The guard who was dozing at the gate saw the strangely dressed Lou Bai coming, and subconsciously raised the stick in his hand and pointed at him.
"Don't get excited, brother." Lou Bai put on a simple smile on his face, and slowly approached, while taking out a piece of compressed biscuits found at the station from his pocket and handed it to the guard: "Brother, actually I am a scavenger, but I got separated from my companions over there, so I wanted to ask you something, where is this?"
Seeing Lou Bai's actions, the guard's face also eased a little, and said: "You are lucky to meet a kind person like me. We are in District F."
"Oh, District F, I know, I heard that the duelist here..."
"Oh, you also know the 'Dueling Three Brothers' in our District F, let me tell you..."
Hearing someone mention his idol, the guard, as a fan of theirs, talked endlessly about the so-called "Dueling Three Brothers" to Lou Bai, a "fellow enthusiast". With Lou Bai saying "really awesome" on the left and "but I heard" on the right, the guard said all the information he knew like a funnel.
When the guard talked about the three brothers' deck ace for the third time, Lou Bai, who thought he could not get any more information, interrupted the guard: "Brother, thank you so much for telling me so much, but it's a pity that I have to go find my companions now, and I'm sorry that I can't continue to listen to you."
The guard seemed to be a little reluctant, and said with some regret: "Brother, it's a pity that we met too late. When you find your companions, you must bring them to my place for a drink!"
Lou Bai smiled and said, "Sure, sure," and slowly turned around and walked back. As he turned around, the smile on his face slowly turned into fighting spirit.
Three brothers who are good at using the backfield to hinder the enemy and use high-attack subordinates to defeat the opponent, then you will be my first opponent.
