The length and width were equal to sixty yojanas (a unit of length in Buddhism, equivalent to a bull's day's walk, which is 11.2 miles).

As the palace door opened, five hundred million billion heavenly kings could be seen inside. Each of them practiced the profound Dana Paramita. In order to support the bodhisattvas who would become Buddhas in one lifetime, they built palaces with the power of heavenly blessings. At that time, the heavenly kings made such a wish.

The jeweled crowns transformed into 500 million jeweled palaces, each of which had seven walls, each of which was made of seven jewels, each of which emitted 500 million lights, each of which had 500 million lotus flowers, each of which transformed into 500 million seven-jeweled trees, each of which had 500 million jeweled colors, each of which had 500 million golden lights of Jambu, and each of which emitted 500 million celestial maidens, each of which stood under the tree, holding countless necklaces made of hundreds of millions of jewels, and playing wonderful music, and in the music they expounded on the path of the unregressing ground...

This number was impossible to count with the naked eye, and it was not seen by Wu Yi, but after Wu Yi saw these scenes, the heavenly kings and maidens, the jeweled trees of Jambu, as well as walls, dragon kings, yakshas and other various visionary gods appeared spontaneously in his sea of ​​consciousness.

Wu Yi was not completely ignorant of Buddhism. He had been to Mingyu Realm, which was no less than the upper realm, and became a guest of the local Buddhist holy place Liuchen Temple. He also read some Buddhist scriptures.

The scene in front of him was not the Tushita Palace described in the "Buddha's Sutra on the Ascension of Maitreya Bodhisattva to Tushita Heaven" (abbreviated as "Ascension Sutra")?

In fact, it can be seen from the name of the scripture that Tushita Palace is related to Maitreya Bodhisattva. Maitreya Bodhisattva, of course, is also called Maitreya Buddha in some places. The distinction between Bodhisattva and Buddha here does not mean the division of cultivation.

The belief in Maitreya Buddha is very widespread, but for most people, they only know the name of Maitreya Buddha, but do not know the status of Maitreya Buddha in Buddhism.

In a nutshell, Maitreya Buddha is the future Buddha, with the same status as Sakyamuni, and Sakyamuni Buddha is the present Buddha.

How can the future and the present be missing the past? The past Buddha was called Kasyapa Buddha, but the more familiar one should be the title of Dipankara Buddha.

Generally speaking, the past, present, and future are closely related and influence each other, and there is no saying of strong or weak. However, some people insist on comparing. If they must compare, there is no doubt that Sakyamuni Buddha ranks first, without any dispute.

As for who is better, the later Buddha Dipankara and the Buddha Maitreya, the two sects have argued for countless kalpas, but have not argued out a clear one.

Of course, these are still a bit far away for Wu Yi. After knowing that the enemy came from Buddhism and practicing "The Sutra of the Buddha on the Rebirth of Maitreya Bodhisattva in Tushita Heaven", Wu Yi finally understood why he could not sense the other party's existence and why Taotie could not convey the other party's message.

The problem lies in this scripture. The Sutra of the Buddha on the Rebirth of Maitreya Bodhisattva in Tushita Heaven is a scripture that tells that Maitreya Buddha will definitely reincarnate in the future. In Buddhism, it has an extremely high status. The "Mulanpen Sutra" practiced by Wu Yi cannot be compared with it at all.

After achieving some success in practicing this scripture, those who practice it will gradually break away from the present world. Of course, they are not completely separated from the present world, but the cause and effect are cut off in the past, so the appearance is irrelevant to reality.

When the practice is mature, the cause and effect will be reconnected and a certain degree of rebirth will be achieved, which is the so-called influence on the future.

However, this is a matter of the future after all, which is related to the past and has nothing to do with the present world. If you cannot find the other party's footsteps, to put it bluntly, it is to find out when the other party practiced "The Sutra of the Buddha on the Ascension of Maitreya Bodhisattva to Tushita Heaven". That time point is the cause and effect of the other party.

If you don't find the hidden cause and effect of the other party, all your actions are useless. It's like you are not in the same world. You can't attack the other party, but the other party can disgust you to death through the influence on the future. You will fall into the passive situation of being beaten. It's useless to escape to the ends of the earth.

Now, Wu Yi understands why the famous beast Taotie is so miserable, forced into the dead water and turned into flesh and blood.

Regardless of other things, in terms of the isolation of cause and effect, this scripture is definitely not as good as the Dingyun Star Plate. Honghua Star Source is something that Taiyi Shangxian can only encounter but not seek. It isolates not only the present, but also the past and the future.

However, if you use the Dingyun Star Plate for a long time, you will really be separated from the present world and unable to return. There is no such worry when practicing this scripture, but it also leaves the weakness of past cause and effect.

It can only be said that there is no perfect thing in the world. If you gain something, you will lose something. It is in line with the truth of heaven and earth.

After knowing the other party's background, the next thing Wu Yi needs to think about is how to find out the other party's past cause and effect and find an opportunity to break it.
