Chapter 3 Lightning and Clefthoof

Just as Nergo had guessed in advance, their hunting team, a group of thirty orcs, walked out of the valley of Gromashr with their own weapons and headed north.

Nergo knew that if it was marked according to the map in the game, the direction they were traveling in would be the place called the Trial Arena.

But he also knew that Grogorok only took them out for hunting and could not go that far.

There is a high probability that it is in the plain in front of Gromash'er.

Moreover, these wolf cavalry will not participate in their hunting, just like the invigilator will not be responsible for answering the exam papers.

"Okay, boys." Grogorok ordered, and everyone, including his wolf warriors, stopped.

"I'll reiterate that now that you have a new kid among you."

"I am only responsible for bringing you here. The rest of the hunting time depends entirely on you and your companions. We will meet here in three days and nights at the latest." Grogorok said with a laugh: "If you don't come back in time after three days and nights, we won't wait for you."

Looking at the wolf cavalry who followed him, they had already begun to prepare to set up a camp.

Nergo looked at the new orcs with pity, not knowing how many of them would die in this hunting.

However, they don't seem to realize this, as if they are just having fun, as if hunting is actually similar to a game in their eyes.

"Where's the little shaman? Come out."

Although Grogorok did not say his name, Nergo knew that he was being called, and he immediately stepped out of the crowd.

"Those boys are under your control." Grogorok patted his shoulder and said in a low voice: "I'm looking forward to the prey you brought back."

Nergo grinned and nodded.

"I never disappoint."

Of course, how could he disappoint? Since they were very young, he and Tazhag had been the two great masters among the children of the Warsong clan. Every day, apart from going door to door for food, they would also fight at the door of the orc boys who disobeyed them.

Not to mention that they are famous, they are also infamous.

Otherwise the two of them would not have been allowed to participate in hunting at the age of 10.

"Very good," Grogorok said, trusting Nergo's words.

"I think three or five Tabu sheep are enough to complete the hunt."

"But for me." Nergo's eyes were full of confidence, "At least I need a cleft-hoofed cow."

"Okay, come with me!" Nergo waved to Tazzag, "Bring the new friends, let's pursue glory together, lok-tar!"

"lok-tar!"

Perhaps infected by Nergo's war cry, the orcs below unanimously shouted a war cry unique to their race.

Looking at the energetic young man, Grogorok didn't say anything. He just walked to the wolf cavalry who set up tents and gave instructions.

………………

"It seems we are not very lucky?" an orc muttered.

They had been walking for a long time, but they found nothing. The beasts that were usually seen everywhere seemed to have gone into seclusion collectively. Many orcs even cursed in their hearts, what the hell is this place?

There was nothing but a few birds.

"No, it's not bad, it's just too good."

Nergo's steps became more and more cautious, as if he were an experienced old hunter, making no sound.

rustle……

A faint sound of footsteps was getting closer and closer. The orc picked up the weapon in his hand and hid in the nearby trees. He held his weapon tightly in his hand. He was confident that as soon as the enemy showed up, he could rely on his speed to Behead him immediately.

Whether he is an ogre or a beast.

At the same time, the other orcs also reacted and imitated Nergo's example, hiding behind trees or rocks.

"What a fool, you dare to get close to the hunting ground of Warsong." He said softly, the voice was so weak that even Tazhag beside him could only hear a rough idea.

Time passed by, and the sound got closer and closer...

Boom boom.

The earth seemed to be shaking.

The sound was getting closer, and they could hear its source.

On the nearby slope, there was a grassy area and the remains of a beast.

He remembered it very clearly, because they also scared away a wind roc right at the wreckage.

As for the reason? Who knows? Maybe its nose was too sensitive and it smelled the scent of an orc?

No longer thinking about those irrelevant things, Nergo glanced at the location of the grass.

Finally, the owner of the voice showed up.

In the dense forest, Nergo saw the creature. It was not an ogre, but a beast like an ox.

"You can really get whatever you want." Nergo's heart beat rapidly, as if he was about to jump out of his chest.

Tension, surprise, fear...

He didn't know how many emotions surrounded his heart.

After coming to this world for so long, this was the first time he encountered a clefthoof cow during hunting, especially a clefthoof cow moving alone.

After all, this dangerous beast is still too dangerous for the orc boys.

Not to mention Chief Hellscream, even Gul'dan in the future would probably not let the orc boys hunt the clefthoof.

Look at that huge beast whose weight can be calculated in tons.

It has spear-like spikes on its body and rhino-like horns on its nose.

Looking at the mouth, the two huge fangs are even more terrifying.

"Sure enough, our luck is too good."

All the orcs thought so after seeing this beast.

This cleft-hoofed bull is bigger than the legend that Nergo heard. He is as big as a dump truck, just like a small walking dirt mountain.

However, the members of the hunting team did not give up, and everyone was observing Nergo.

They decided to follow Nergo, whether they chose to hunt it or retreat quietly.

Nergo stared at the cleft-hoofed bull and took out a few poisonous darts covered with venom from his pocket.

But after thinking about it, he put it back in his pocket and took his companion's javelin instead.

"It's so pitiful, you may not live long this time." He showed a cruel smile.

If this huge beast could be hunted, not to mention the fine fur on its body, the meat on its body would be enough to feed at least several families.

"lok-tar, ogar!"

A war cry from Nergo sounded.

He rushed out of the grass quickly when the Clefthoof was not paying attention.

There is no doubt that a 300-pound orc suddenly rushed out of the forest and was not a threat to the Clefthoof that had strayed from the herd.

But soon, more orcs began to rush out, some of them holding spears, some holding axes, and some using maces and hammers as weapons.

But no one dared to rush up and face the anger of the Clefthoof, and could only rely on surrounding it and trying to kill this terrifying beast with cooperation.

If it was the orcs of the Thunder God Clan, or the well-prepared orc hunting team, they should have chosen to use grappling hooks and chains to try to restrain this behemoth.

But Nergo and his men had nothing, and the only thing they could gamble with was blood and life.

When it jumped out, everyone was ready to pay with their lives.

But the Clefthoof was not easy to mess with. With its weight, it was really deadly and injured.

Soon, people were hit and trampled to death by the Clefthoof.

Screams and roars were heard.

It was not their fault that they were weak. Not to mention the Fletcher that almost every beastmaster hunter in the game had, even in the background story, the Clefthoof was a very fierce beast.

If the Talbuk was a sergeant with a spear, then the Clefthoof was a tin can man equipped with plate armor.

This is because Draenor is a land of outstanding people and talents, and only then can such an outrageous beast of a certain level be raised.

"Use bows and arrows and javelins!" Tazag shouted, and took the lead in throwing his javelins at the Clefthoof. Thanks to its large physique, all of these javelins hit.

But also thanks to its large physique, these more than ten arrows and five or six javelins did not cause much damage, but angered it instead.

"Aim at its eyes!" Nergo wiped the dust from his face when the cleft-hoofed bull moved with his hand, "Attack the vitals!"

For such a large beast, although their defense is very strong, after all, no matter how strong it is, it has to be reasonable. The eyeball as a weak part can't evolve into an iron ball.

Tazag roared and threw his last javelin, which came with the sound of wind. The cleft-hoofed bull couldn't dodge in time, so he could only close his eyes and try to block it with his eyelids.

But, how can it resist the javelin?

In an instant, the cleft-hoofed bull completed the transformation from an ordinary and huge cleft-hoofed bull to a one-eyed and huge cleft-hoofed bull.

The pain of losing his eyes made it roar.

Perhaps it also understood the principle of capturing the king first, it rushed towards Nergo quickly, and knocked down three orcs along the way.

It can only be said that fracture is the luckiest option.

"Get out of the way!" Tazag roared anxiously, picked up a mace from an unknown orc, and jumped to its back.

At the same time, he hammered his mace down with all his strength.

The cleft-hoofed bull felt the attack from its back, roared, threw it away, and changed its target to rush towards him who was still in the air.

It was getting closer and closer, and its huge shadow almost completely blocked the sunlight.

Nergo was very nervous and scared, afraid that the beast would knock Tazag into a corpse, or even worse, like turning him into a meat paste.

Despair, but followed by a burst of rage.

With a venting roar, a thunderbolt was generated from his hand, and this thunderbolt was like the wrath of Zeus, hitting the head of the cleft-hoofed bull.

The brown fur on its body was burned gray by electricity.

Obviously, it couldn't die any more.

Seeing its miserable appearance, Nergo collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.
