Chapter 915 Infiltration
In the fifth grade, young wizards will encounter a stage-by-stage evaluation test - the Ordinary Wizard Level Test.
Fifth-year students will get wizard certification in a specific field in their advantageous subjects based on their test scores. This is actually equivalent to a baseline test, in order to let students recognize their strengths and weaknesses and play to their strengths and avoid their weaknesses.
For example, if Neville only gets excellent grades in Herbology, then he may have to study more in Herbology in the future.
Another example is Harry's outstanding performance in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, which can help him in his future studies.
Of course, all classes still need to be studied, but there will be some emphasis in the sixth and seventh grades. Teachers will also know the students' talents and shortcomings through their grades.
After reconciling with Luna, Hermione devoted herself to preparing for the exam. This is a personal matter and she dare not take it lightly. She even got the test questions of the previous exams through Professor McGonagall's relationship to conduct mock exams. Sure enough, it took three years of college entrance examinations and five years of mock exams.
There were no problems with other subjects, but Hermione was always frustrated in the Defense Against the Dark Arts course. She got all the theoretical knowledge grades, but there was a question mark for the lack of practical combat.
"Dad, I need your office to study." Hermione came to Duran's office with a thick stack of books.
Duran said it was okay, and he picked up a parchment scroll and found that it was the spells test paper for the Ordinary Wizarding Level Examination last year.
The content is actually very simple, all of which are what the teacher said in class and in the textbook.
"Is it necessary to be so nervous just for these questions?"
"Nervous? No, I'm not nervous, I'm just worried about what if I forget these knowledge during the exam?" Obviously Hermione doesn't think she is a genius. Her grades are all earned by her hard work in her spare time. She never slacks off in preparation, review, and extracurricular homework. Her advantage is that she can effectively arrange her study time, not relying on photographic memory.
"Don't worry about me, I need a quiet space for myself." Hermione pushed Duran and asked him to leave.
Duran had no choice but to go somewhere else to kill time. He walked to the principal's office and went to have a cup of tea when he had nothing to do.
Dumbledore was there, holding a silver sword in his hand, gesturing at the desk. On his desk was a cup, obviously the cup of Hufflepuff, one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.
It was taken out of Gringotts, because of the special order of the Ministry of Magic, the things hidden in the vault were first obtained by the Order of the Phoenix. But no one could destroy the cup, and the spell was useless, so it was sent to Dumbledore. Dumbledore thought of many ways, and finally thought that since it was the thing of the founder of the college, he would use the things of another founder of the college to break it. Just as he was about to do it, Duran came.
Each founder of the four colleges of Hogwarts left a treasure, Slytherin's pendant box, Gryffindor's sword, Hufflepuff's cup, and Ravenclaw's golden crown. Except for Gryffindor's sword, the other three have become Horcruxes.
The Horcruxes chosen by Voldemort are meaningful to him. He chose the representative items of the magic school because he remembered the place that changed his life.
He became a special person from a redundant person, and the magic school was a turning point in his life.
So, since he has chosen three things, there is no reason not to turn the last one into a Horcrux. There is only one reason why Voldemort gave up the sword of Gryffindor, that is, his soul feared the courage on the sword.
A simple reasoning can make it possible to think that the sword may be Voldemort's weakness.
Boring things, Duran poured himself tea, watching the headmaster from hesitation to decisiveness, from raising the sword to slashing down, successfully destroying a Horcrux, and also destroying a historical artifact.
The headmaster's forehead was sweating: "It seems that I guessed right. Gryffindor's sword is the nemesis of Horcruxes." Then he looked up at Duran: "What's the matter?"
"Nothing, just come here for a walk." "How many Horcruxes have you collected?"
"One, it is obvious that some Horcruxes have been taken away in advance. Bella, who was separated by you, has returned to Voldemort's side. She is helping Voldemort find Horcruxes. There have been battles, and there have been no casualties, but Voldemort may still not give up."
"Come on, now our strength is several times that of Voldemort, and we don't have to be afraid of him at all."
"I'm just afraid that if Voldemort doesn't die, there will be many people who obey him."
Duran thought this was simple: "We can make a fake Voldemort, do a sting operation, and catch those guys with bad intentions in one fell swoop, what do you think?"
"..." Dumbledore smiled bitterly: "Why are your plans so whimsical every time?"
"You are worried that Voldemort will respond to everyone. My method is not bad." But Dumbledore obviously couldn't adopt it.
Duran was quiet, not interested in this trivial matter, and then he looked at the phoenix raised by Dumbledore. Plucking two feathers should not be considered animal abuse.
This year is definitely the most peaceful year for Harry. Everything went smoothly from the beginning of the school. Except for the pressure of studying, he did not feel any danger this year and spent the whole semester smoothly. In the communication with Sirius, he knew that Sirius was looking for Voldemort's Horcrux and was ready to give Voldemort the final blow.
But they didn't know that in order to retrieve the golden crown, Bella and the snake had come to the outside of Hogwarts. They had to sneak into the school and enter the Room of Requirement.
As soon as they approached, they were discovered by Duran. The golden crown had been in his hand. He asked the Chamber of Secrets Snake and Norbeta to guard it. The location was still in the Room of Requirement, just to lure the snake out of the hole.
As expected, it was easy to sneak into the school. It can only be blamed on the fact that there are too many secret passages in Hogwarts, which cannot prevent thieves at all.
Bella avoided the eyes and ears and entered the Room of Requirement, entering a spacious and crowded room full of sundries to hide things. Spacious because the room is huge, crowded because there are too many things in the factory-like space.
"Where will the golden crown be?" Bella entered it, and there was almost no room to stand. From shoe cabinets to books, it seemed that hundreds and thousands of years of sundries were all piled here. "Golden crown flies." The flying spell was useless, and he could only look for it slowly.
The big snake also moved through the sundries, but bumped into the Chamber of Secrets Snake, which was even bigger and thicker than it.
Communicating in snake language, the monster snake against the big snake, it is obvious that the monster snake is more powerful than the big snake. Voldemort's soul parasitized in the big snake was almost fixed, because seeing the eyes of the monster snake would be petrified. Fortunately, the strange snake had been communicating with the big snake with his eyes closed.
The strange snake asked the big snake why he came here, and the big snake replied that he was looking for the golden crown according to the order of his master Voldemort.
The strange snake said that it did not like Bella and asked the big snake to kill Bella.
Voldemort was sad. The beast that he had instructed fifty years ago was now arrogant to him. But now he couldn't even beat the strange snake, so he could only argue and tell the strange snake that Bella was a friend.
Bella didn't know that behind her back, in the miscellaneous push, two snakes were deciding her life and death.
